Evolution:a change in the gene pool of a population from generation to generation by mutation and natural selection.
Mutation: a sudden departure from the parent type in one or more heritable characteristics, caused by a change in a gene or a chromosome.
Natural selection: the process by which forms of life having traits that better enable them to adapt to specific environmental pressures.


all species will not stop evolving because its environment will not stop changing. Furthermore, mutations will always occur contributing to the variations in the population and the individuals in the population will always be fighting over limited resources. The only time a population would ever stop evolving would be if there was an environment that was stable and had unlimited resources or if a population stop producing.

This video displays earth's changes in land formation affecting the environmental factors, such as climate and the accessibility of resources, required by organisms in order to survive.

As the environment changes and varies, organisms must adapt to the environment; those organisms with more favorable characteristics are more likely to survive.

This picture illustrates the evolution of man in response to the changes of environment that acts upon the characteristics and variety of changes upon the individual. All of these variations and mutations that are acted upon the environment will eventually be displayed in the population, since it has a greater chance to survive under the conditions.

Ever since our earth was born, its environment was continually changing, acting upon the mutations and or variations making natural selection more evident in a population. This supports our claim of perpetual evolution, that it is continually occurring. Also, there are no such things as an unlimited resource; everything such as food and mates are all limited resources that induces something to evolve. Evolution occurs over a series of generations, so once a population stops producing, the population will stop evolving, and thus, rendered extinct. The only organisms that are even close to not evolving would be things that reproduce asexually like bacteria, they do not have the limiting factor of mates and the children have almost no variation, but they still evolve.


This is a picture of how evolution normally goes, since the environment is constantly changing and there will always be variations in a population then this process will always continue.
The only Time that evolution will not occur is when the population doesn't mutate, which will lead to their extinction, or if the environment never changes
